✉️ Connecting Your Email & Enabling Notifications

How to Connect Your Email, explaining how the emails sync with TalentLynk, enabling notifications and why they are important.

📢 We only sync emails that you send and receive from contacts already in TalentLynk.

In other words, we do not want to replace your Outlook or Gmail inbox, but simply make it easier for you to track all conversations with the relevant people in one place.

Syncing your email and enabling notifications ensures you can send, receive, and get alerts for calls and messages right from TalentLynk.

Connecting Your Email

  1. Go to the Settings page (⚙️ icon at the bottom left).

  2. Under Email Integration, click Connect.

  3. Log in with your Gmail or Outlook account again when prompted.

  4. Once connected, you’ll see a status showing Connected.

Enable Notifications

  1. Still in Settings, check the notification icon 🔔.

    • A red line through the bell means notifications are disabled.

  2. Click on it and click OK and Allow notifications in your browser.

  3. Reload the page — you’ll now see a green tick confirming activation.

❗️Why This Matters❗️
Notifications are native to your computer and even if you are in a different tab they will alert you about:

  • Incoming calls

  • WhatsApp messages

  • SMS messages

You’ll now get real-time alerts on your computer — even if TalentLynk isn’t your active tab.
