Creating Templates
There are 2 ways to create new templates:
From Settings > Templates > Email or SMS > New Template
From the Smart Inbox > click on any conversation > select Email or SMS channel > Select a template > New Template
Templates can include variables like the contact’s or the consultant’s first name.
The name of a template must contain alphanumeric characters, spaces, dashes and underscores only.
Personal vs. Global templates
By default, new templates are personal, i.e. only available to the person creating them. Templates can be made global by toggling Available to all teammates. This will make the created template show up and be available to everyone else in your company.
❗Important
Editing a global template will change the content for everyone. Make sure this is intended, otherwise create a new personal template with the desired changes instead of editing an existing global one.
Editing templates
Go to Settings > Templates > Email or SMS
Click on the pencil icon action button on the right of the template you want to edit
Make the desired changes and click Save
