How to re-enable notifications for TalentLynk

If you previously dismissed or blocked the notification prompt, your browser will stop asking - and TalentLynk won't be able to notify you about calls, messages, or summaries while the tab is in the background.

The good news: you can turn permissions back on in a few clicks. You'll see a small bell icon in TalentLynk showing your current status - once notifications are enabled, it turns green.

Note: Notification permissions are set per browser, per device. If you use TalentLynk on more than one computer or browser, you'll need to do this on each.

For Chrome

  1. Click the icon to the left of the web address at the top of the window (it may look like a tune/sliders icon or a small page icon).

  2. Find Notifications in the menu that appears.

  3. Switch it to On.

  4. Reload the page. The bell icon in TalentLynk should now turn green.

For Edge

  1. Click the icon to the left of the web address at the top of the window.

  2. Find Notifications in the panel that opens.

  3. Set it to Allowed.

  4. Reload the page. The bell icon in TalentLynk should now turn green.

Still not working?

If you've set the permission to Allow and the bell still isn't green:

  • Make sure notifications aren't blocked at the operating system level (Windows: Settings → System → Notifications; macOS: System Settings → Notifications).

  • Check that your browser itself is allowed to show notifications.

  • Try fully closing and reopening your browser.
