When you make an outbound call through TalentLynk, the number that appears on the recipient's phone is your Caller ID. This is the phone number that identifies you to the person you're calling.
Choosing the right Caller ID matters - using a local or recognisable number can increase the chances of your calls being answered.
How to change your Caller ID
You can update your Caller ID at any time using any number that has been assigned to your account.
From the Dialler
Open your Dialler
Click the Settings icon
At the top, select a different number from the ones assigned to your account
From the Smart Inbox
Open the Smart Inbox
Click on any conversation with a contact
On the right-hand side, just below the contact name, you'll see your current Caller ID
Click it to switch to a different number
From the mobile app
Open the TalentLynk mobile app
Change your Caller ID directly from within the app before placing your call
Important the caller ID should only be changed from the TalentLynk desktop or mobile apps, not the CS mobile app. Otherwise the two systems will get out of sync.
