🔊 Sound Settings (Windows)

If you can’t hear calls (or others can’t hear you), it’s usually because Windows isn’t using the correct headset for input (microphone) and output (speakers). This guide shows the recommended settings for TalentLynk on Windows.

1. Set your headset in Windows Sound Settings

  1. Open Settings

  2. Go to System → Sound

  3. Set Output to your headset

  4. Set Input to your headset microphone

✅ Your default Windows input/output should now be your headset.


2. Set your headset in Volume Mixer (Chrome / Edge)

  1. In System → Sound, scroll down to Volume mixer

  2. Find your browser (e.g. Chrome or Edge)

  3. Set the browser Input and Output to your headset

✅ Once your browser input/output matches your headset, you should be good to go.
