‘Call blocked by browser / headset.'

How to allow microphone permission or disconnect and reconnect your headset.

Chrome

  • You will need to reset your browser permissions and allow Chrome to request them again.

  • See this video for a step-by-step guide

Edge

  • Make sure Edge is up to date. Copy edge://settings/help into the address bar

  • Close any TL desktop apps and open just one in a new tab: https://app.talentlynk.ai/

  • Open a second tab and paste this into the address bar: edge://settings/privacy/sitePermissions/allSites/siteDetails?site=https://app.talentlynk.ai

  • For Microphone, change the option to "Ask"

  • Go back to the TL tab and refresh

  • Open the dialler in TL > Settings and Allow when asked for Microphone permission

  • If there's no error there, click "Open in app" from the top right of the address bar to reopen the desktop app

Other tips

If you are still having issues, you might need to reach out for help to your company's IT team as we're limited in the help we can offer for local laptop or headset issues since we don't have access to your devices. Your company's IT team is in a much better position to identify what's wrong and offer solutions.
