Fix “Popup blocked” when signing in

What to do when your browser is blocking the sign in popup

TalentLynk opens a secure Google or Microsoft sign-in window when you log in. If your browser blocks that window, you may see this message:

'Your browser blocked the sign in popup. Allow popups and redirects for TalentLynk, then click Sign in again.

Allow popups for TalentLynk only. You do not need to allow popups for every website.

Chrome

  1. Stay on the TalentLynk sign-in page.

  2. Look at the right side of the address bar for the Pop-up blocked icon.

  3. Click the icon.

  4. Select Always allow pop-ups and redirects from https://app.talentlynk.ai.

  5. Click Done.

  6. Click Sign in with Google or Sign in with Microsoft again.

If you do not see the popup icon:

  1. Open Chrome.

  2. Click the three dots in the top right.

  3. Go to Settings.

  4. Go to Privacy and security.

  5. Click Site settings.

  6. Click Pop-ups and redirects.

  7. Under Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects, click Add.

  8. Click Add.

  9. Go back to TalentLynk and try signing in again.

Microsoft Edge

  1. Open Edge.

  2. Click the three dots in the top right.

  3. Go to Settings.

  4. Go to Privacy, search, and services.

  5. Click Site permissions.

  6. Click All permissions.

  7. Click Pop-ups and redirects.

  8. Under Allowed to send pop-ups and use redirects, click Add.

  9. Click Add.

  10. Go back to TalentLynk and try signing in again.

Still not working?

Try these checks:

  1. Refresh the TalentLynk sign-in page.

  2. Click the sign-in button again.

  3. If you are using a work-managed browser, ask your IT team to allow popups and redirects for: https://app.talentlynk.ai

  4. If you use an ad blocker or privacy extension, allow TalentLynk and try again.
